We are on a mission to shape the European Blockchain Economy by discovering, investing and helping the most innovative projects to grow.

2017 – today

The Hinterland of Things is one of the up and coming and unique leadership summits in the heart of Germanys strongest industrial areas. The Hinterland is home to many global players such as Bertelsmann, Miele, Class, Dr. Oetker and many more. At Hinterland, thriving entrepreneurs, leading VC Funds and C-level executives such as Lars Hinrichs, Max Viessmann, Christian Miele, Albert Christmann, Cherry Ventures, LaFamiglia, HTGF discuss the opportunities for a new Digital Mittelstand as the benchmark for Germany. Further highlights of the conference are the Rocket Mittelstand Award (RMA) and the Startup Exhibition.

At Visionary Ventures we love ambitious projects, talented entrepreneurs and emerging technologies. Our key competence is Ecosystem & Venture Building, Ventures Capital and developing compelling educational formats. Over the years we build & invested in over 50 companies in various industries. We are passioned about AI and the Blockchain Space (Crypto, NFT, DeFi, P2E). Furthermore we advise leading family owned businesses and non-profit organisations worldwide.

2016 – 2021

The Founders Foundation educates the next generation of b2b tech entrepreneurs and builds a sustainable, founder centric b2b start-up ecosystem in the heart of the “German Mittelstand”. As a pioneer in the education of founders, the Founders Foundation relies on the holistic and methodological Founders Foundation Education Model, which systematically maps the entire start-up lifecycle in various programs to prepare tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. As a breeding ground for successful entrepreneurship and as a pilot project for Germany, the Founders Foundation is establishing a b2b start-up ecosystem in the homeland of german mittelstand, which promotes start-ups, enables the successful merging of „new and old business“ and drives the digital future forward. Taking advantage of the region’s strengths with established world market leaders and international family-owned companies, the Hinterland of Things was initiated as one of the leading tech conferences in Germany. The Founders Foundation is a non-profit organization that places a sustainable and successful education of founders at the center of its activities according to the motto: no equity – people first.

2015

FinLeap is an international company builder focusing on the FinTech market from its offices in Berlin and San Francisco. At FinLeap I co-founded FinanceAds International and led the internationalization into 7 markets. FinanceAds is a leading company for customer acquisition for global financial institutions. FinanceAds International was awarded the European Performance Marketing Award in the „Best Affiliate Network“ category. I left the company to build the founders foundation.

2006 – 2009

Bertelsmann is an international media company whose core divisions encompass television (RTL Group), book publishing (Penguin Random House), magazine publishing (Gruner + Jahr), services (Arvato), and printing (Be Printers) in some 50 countries. At Bertelsmann I was part of the central corporate development team, responsible for creating inter-divisional business opportunities leveraging the synergy potenial of the global media group.

2005 – 2006

9Live was the leading interactive TV Channel in Europe. At 9live I was responsible for creating additional revenue streams with new formats, new platforms and expansion to international markets.

2000 – 2004

Cardmine was one of the first print e-commerce start-ups in the world. Cardmine’s Internet Paper Postcard provided a free customer acquisition promotion tool for consumers and at the same time a database generation tool for marketeers and brands. Postcard services could also be used from wireless devices and mobile phones. I co-founded the company and sold my stake in 2003.

1998 – 2000

Pixelpark was the leading Internet Agency Network in Europe (IPO in 2000) At Pixelpark I developed concepts to help our clients to reach their customers on new platforms. Key projects included the development of hugo.com (P&G), Launch of first E-commerce site for MoMA among others.
